If you ask me, it is super appropriate to have something that is called a “Coffee Cup Cozy” as one of the first blog posts on Cute & Cozy Crochet.
And by the way, this Coffee Cup Cozy isn’t just cozy. It’s also super cute!
I used an adorable cluster stitch for this pattern. It is really pretty and super easy!
It’s basically doing 3 double crochets in a row, but only finishing it on the third. Read the instructions in the pattern to make sense of this.
Now this pattern is not just cute & cozy, it’s also JUMBO!
You know those mugs that we all have that are just super big? They’re the ones you find in coffee shops and on an episode of Friends. You need a big mug on those days when a regular sized coffee is just too small. This Jumbo Coffee Cup Cozy is for that!
I’ve been having these kinds of days a lot lately with my teething baby and potty training toddler. 5:00AM days are not uncommon in our household, so bring on the coffee!!
It is also perfect for those days when you need a break, which I think we all need more often than we allow. So make sure you’re warm and cozy, snuggle up with a blanket, watch The Princess Bride, and drink a TON of hot chocolate. Just be sure to wrap your mug up nice and cozy, too.
Happy Crocheting!
