Baby girls and big bows are super duper cute, don’t you think? And if you take those big bows and put them on booties, well, you might have yourself a cuteness attack! So, I’d brace myself if I were you, because here they are: The Baby Girl (Big) Bow Booties!
When I made these booties for my 11 month old, Lizzy, she was so excited! She wouldn’t stay still for a picture. It was frustrating at first, but when I looked at the pictures, I smiled.
I saw the blurry booties and huge smile on my little princess’s face and it made me so happy! I’d say there is no better reason to crochet than to make others happy. And to do that for my little pumpkin, that’s priceless.
These bow booties use very simple stitches and are designed for 3 sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-12 months. I haven’t tried it, but I’m pretty certain that if you used a 4mm hook rather than a 3.75mm hook for the 6-12 month booties, you could have a pair of 12-18 month booties. So let’s say 4 sizes instead.
Aside from the adorable and super big bow on these booties, there is one other really cute addition: adorable wooden buttons! I bought these buttons a while back for some booties I made for a craft sale. I had so many left over that I’ve been trying to use them for as many projects as I can. So be prepared to see them again!
Since I’ve rambled long enough, I think you’ll want to just grab your yarn and hook, start up Netflix, and make these incredibly cute & cozy baby booties! Happy Crocheting!

I hope they do, too! A friend of mine asked me to make a pair for her sister’s newborn, and she loves them! If you have any questions about the pattern, let me know. Enjoy!
