Hi crochet friend!

Today is a fun new tutorial for you that will be so helpful for those of you making blankets and scarves this Fall: how to crochet a half double crochet foundation chain and a double crochet foundation chain.

Next week, I will be releasing a chunky baby blanket pattern that will use the double crochet foundation chain. I love this blanket and am so excited to share it with you!

Now, I was so intimidated at first when I wanted to try these techniques. But it has become a staple in my crochet now. I love any time I can use one of these foundation chains, and I know you will, too!

These free videos and written tutorials show you exactly how to crochet a half double crochet and double crochet foundation chain for making scarves, blankets, sweaters, and many other crochet patterns.

If you’re looking for the single crochet foundation chain, you can find that here.

Enjoy the free patterns and videos below!
