Free Crochet Patterns for the Home

Hi crochet friend!

Crochet in the summer can easily fall by the wayside. It’s always been a struggle to design in the summertime, that’s for sure! I want so badly to make all the cozies: sweaters, blankets, booties, etc. But people usually want things for the home like dishcloths or bags during the summer.

And that is totally understandable! So I wanted to give you this roundup of Cute & Cozy Crochet patterns that are “For the Home”. Enjoy!

The Quick & Easy Crochet Dishcloth is a super simple pattern that can be made in well under an hour. It makes a small rectangular dishcloth perfect for daily dish washing.

People usually buy houses more often in the summer, and making them some pretty coasters can be the perfect gift to make at the last minute.

Bags are so important for summer, aren’t they? I need so many thing when going to the park, heading for the beach, or even just going to church. This bag is perfect for those!

When she was 4, my oldest daughter had so much fun collecting rocks. She kept asking me for bags to hold them in, so I quickly made this little pouch for her, and she loved it!

This beautiful little dishcloth uses the lemon peel stitch, and is so pretty! It works really well for getting dishes clean.

This oldie, but goodie uses the bobble stitch to make a very effective scrubby mitt. It really works on those tough dishes!

And there you have 6 crochet patterns that can be made over and over again this summer! Keep that hook moving, friend!

Until next time,
Happy Crocheting!
