The Lizzy Bear

My little Lizzy has always been my snuggle bug, and she needed something she could snuggle with all the time, so I decided that she needed a stuffed animal. After mentioning a few suggestions to William, he said that I had to make her a teddy bear.

Now about this ADORABLE teddy bear! I searched long and hard online for a teddy bear pattern. I saw so many adorable patterns, but they all were only partially what I’d like in a teddy bear. There’d be ears I wanted, but the legs didn’t have the foot distinction. Or I’d see that the feet were perfect, but the nose just didn’t appeal to me.

So I said to myself, “Hey self, you should make your OWN pattern! How hard can it be, right?” Well, it wasn’t super hard, but it wasn’t the easiest thing in the world.

And my goodness! It was so fun! To see the form of a bear being made loop by loop was just amazing. I was having so much fun, I kept interrupting our show just to brag to William about how awesome this teddy bear was going to look. He just smiled at me and shifted back to the show.

So, now that I’ve rambled on in the usual Mary-way, here is the cute, cozy, and super fun Lizzy Bear:
